Our mission

‘‘We want to make people healthier and happier every single day. By getting them to reconnect with themselves and others.’’- Jack, Director

Because that is exactly what I needed 10 years ago..

Jack Haygarth Director of Relaxation Station

Hi I’m Jack the Director and creator of Relaxation Station. Proud to be partnered with change mental health UK. Here’s my story. About 10 years ago I was in a horrible place with my mental health. I had spent 8 years learning Chinese only to be flunking out of my 3rd year spent in China, chain smoking in my room, skipping class, eating fast food every day and feeling completely lost and depressed. I flew home in a daze not knowing if I could continue my degree nor what on earth I should do with my life.

That is when I discovered saunas, cold plunges and self improvement. A ship in a storm will go to any port and fortunately the first things I stumbled upon were healthy living and self help books particularly saunas, cold plunges, exercise and healthy living. This began a complete transformation of my life to the point of losing 40 lbs, feeling happier with myself and leading a life I was content with. Relaxation Station hopes to have this same transformational impact on people.

To aid in this Relaxation Stations works in conjunction with Change mental health UK. I have personally raised over 15,000 towards this amazing charity through 2 ultra events and 1 marathon and I will continue to do insane challenges to raise money for this worthy cause. These included a back yard ultra- a race with no official end where ever person must run 6.7Km in an hour and then declare if they want to go again until there is only 1 person standing (I did 67KM). The Toughest Mudder a 24 hour assault course race seeing how many laps of this brutal 5 mile assault course you can complete (I did 12 laps or 60 miles). And the Edinburgh Marathon which I completed in 4 hours 40 minutes.
