It is a treatment which is focussed on releasing restrictions within the fascial network of the body. It can help increase energy, breathing capacity, restore muscle function and postural alignment as well as relieving physical and emotional strain.

A great way to balance the body and promote self healing and relaxation.

Fascia is like a 3-D body stocking that runs all around the body and supports all muscles, organs and bones. It is a continuous fibrous network of collagen, elastic fibres and fluid.

Healthy fascia is pliable. However, after trauma and poor postural habits, surgery, inflammation and scarring, fascia can become hard and dehydrated.

Myofascial Release focusses on gently changing these memorised pattens with sustained pressure. It is a gentle therapy which requires holding pressure at each location for at least 2-3 minutes to allow the fascia to elongate and restore to a healthy position.
